Position Overview:
Krown Petroleum is seeking a motivated and highly organized Project Manager to oversee petroleum construction projects from initial quoting through final completion. This position coordinates customers, vendors, subcontractors, materials, scheduling, fulfillment, and internal field teams to ensure every project is completed safely, accurately, on time, and within budget.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, and can solve problems without constant supervision. Krown Petroleum is not a traditional 9-to-5 company. Construction schedules, customer needs, and unexpected field conditions may require early mornings, late evenings, and longer hours when necessary.
The ideal candidate is often a recent college graduate who is ambitious, dependable, comfortable learning quickly, and interested in building a long-term career in construction and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage construction projects from initial estimate through completion and closeout.
* Prepare project estimates, quotes, proposals, budgets, and change orders.
* Coordinate material purchasing, order fulfillment, deliveries, and equipment availability.
* Schedule and communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and field personnel.
* Review project scopes, plans, specifications, and customer requirements.
* Track project costs, labor, materials, schedules, and overall profitability.
* Confirm that crews have the materials, equipment, permits, and information needed to complete each job.
* Monitor project progress and quickly address delays, shortages, scheduling conflicts, and field issues.
* Maintain accurate project files, purchase orders, documentation, customer approvals, and completion records.
* Provide regular updates to customers and company leadership.
* Help ensure projects comply with company safety standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
* Assist with billing, project closeout, and collection of required completion documents.
* Take ownership of assigned projects and follow through until all outstanding items are resolved.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree preferred; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Degree in construction management, business, engineering, logistics, or a related field is helpful but not required.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where plans and priorities may change.
* Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing quotes, ordering materials, and tracking costs.
* Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, project-management software, and other business technology.
* Willingness to learn petroleum construction, equipment, materials, and industry requirements.
* Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and accept responsibility for results.
* Previous construction, estimating, logistics, fulfillment, or project-coordination experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule Expectations:
This is a full-time position and is not limited to traditional 9-to-5 hours. Project demands may occasionally require early mornings, evenings, extended workdays, or availability outside regular business hours. Candidates must be flexible and willing to do what is reasonably necessary to keep projects moving and customers informed.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, eager to take on responsibility, and interested in growing with the company. The right candidate does not need to know everything on day one, but they must be dependable, responsive, detail-oriented, and willing to put in the effort required to succeed.
Krown Petroleum provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience in estimating, construction management, purchasing, customer relations, operations, and leadership while working directly with experienced professionals in the petroleum industry.
